We have categorized our site into 18 separate lists, displayed on the left hand side of the home page. If you are struggling to find a particular artist - use the new search engine just below the category links.
All items listed are UK release unless stated.
The vinyl is graded with the standard Record Collector Magazine grading system:
M = Mint
Ex= Excellent
VG= Very Good
Gd= Good
These grades are sometimes fine-tuned with a + or -. Covers and packaging are graded first, then the disc(s). A grading on it's own such as "Ex" would indicate the item only has a plain paper, card or plastic sleeve. Please note our "Vg" or "Vg+" will NOT be as good as the same US grading.
Items below the standard of Gd- are not usually offered for sale. An item marked good will probably have a fair amount of surface noise but will not jump.
The last column to the right of the price refers to which person is offering that item for sale.
Standard abbreviations used may include:
p/s - picture sleeve
pic disc - picture disc
noc - no original centre
orig - original
wos - writing on sleeve
wol - writing on label
gate or gfld - gatefold sleeve
2xlp - double album
If you wish to enquire about a certain item before committing yourself to an order, please feel free to mail us via the link on the contact page. We will try to answer all questions within 36 hours but please note at weekends particularly there may be a delay since we are often out doing record fairs.
Ordering or checking the availability of an item is now very easy. Just click the "add" button at the right of the list next to that item and you will add that item to your shopping basket. When you are content with the items you have selected click "proceed to checkout". THIS DOES NOT COMMIT YOU TO PAYING. Your list of items will be mailed to us and you will receive an email confirming this. As soon as we have checked the availability of your items you will receive another mail confirming what is available and inviting you to pay. If you wish to cancel one or two items at this stage you will need to email us. Otherwise go ahead via the link given on the mail and choose your payment method. You will receive further confirmations when your payment is received and your goods are shipped.
Every item must ALWAYS be reserved by the shopping basket or E-mail before money is sent. This will avoid inconvenience and disappointment. Items will usually be reserved for one week for UK customers and two weeks for overseas customers. We HAVE to uphold these time limits strictly - that way it is fair to everyone.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
We accept payments by credit card, and we are equipped with a secure server for your convenience. For your own security please do not email your credit card number to us - if you have a problem with using the secure form you can phone the details through to us instead. If you wish to pay by credit card please specify this when you order and wait for confirmation of the availability of your items. When they have been confirmed along with the total price, you will be contacted by email and invited to use the secure system. We can accept Mastercard/Visa, AMEX and JCB from overseas customers, plus Switch and Solo from UK customers. We reserve the right not to accept payment by credit cards from first-time customers. There are currently no charges for paying by credit card, but there is a 35p charge for debit cards for orders under 10 pounds.
OTHER METHODS
Payment for UK customers can also be by cheque or postal order payable to "British Vinyl Network". You can also pay cash.
EC residents can now pay by Euros cash. You can also pay by International Money Order made in UK funds on a UK bank.
US customers can pay by US Dollars cash by prior arrangement. Our exchange rate with the Dollar for cash payments is currently 1.6 Dollars to 1.00 UK Pound (so you have to multiply the UK Pound list prices by 1.6). This will fluctuate so please keep checking. Our rate with the Euro is currently 1.2 to 1.
Cash should be sent registered mail.
Other overseas customers can pay by International Money Order made in UK funds on a UK bank or in Sterling or US Dollars cash. Items sent by us are sent standard unregistered mail/airmail to save money - if you want registered/insured shipping please ask! Although we cannot accept responsibility for lost orders if you do not specify registered postage, there isn't usually a problem.
If you do decide on an IMO please use a place who will give you a cheque over the counter so you can dispatch yourselves - banks who want to do the whole process for you including dispatch to UK will take 4-6 weeks. You have been warned!

Postage and packing for the UK is as follows:
LP's / 10" / 12" / Videos / books - £2.60 for first item, £1.20 for each additional. Please note double LPs count as two for shipping purposes. Items are always sent first class.
7" / CD / cassettes – £1.40 for first item, 30p for each additional. (Note if ordering LP's and 7", all 7" are 30p. Again, doubles count as two).
Box sets are priced individually for shipping. Please contact us for a quote. Also we may occasionally have to add extra postage for LPs with particularly heavy posters inside, or in similar circumstances.
Recorded Delivery (UK) is 80p extra per parcel. Note we often are dispatching from several different sources as there are many different people represented on the site. We STRONGLY recommend you choose recorded delivery for your items. The price is good value for peace of mind.
Special Delivery (UK) (registered) is now weight dependant. We would suggest recorded delivery for items up to 30 pounds in value. 1 lp or 7" will usually be around £6.00 for Special Delivery. For heavier parcels we will charge at cost.
Postage and packing for overseas is as follows:
European shipping (including eastern Europe and Russia) -
LP's / 10" / 12" / Video / books - 4.00 UKP for first item, 1.75 UKP for each additional. Please note double LPs count as two for shipping purposes. These prices are for standard airmail.
7" / CD / cassettes – 2.00 UKP for first item, 75p for each additional. (Note if ordering LP's and 7", all 7" are 75p. Again, doubles count as two).
Rest of the world shipping (including North America, South America, Japan, Australia, NZ, S. Africa, Far East, Middle East & Israel).
LP's / 10" / 12" / Video / books - 6.50 UKP for first item, 2.75 UKP for each additional. Please note double LPs count as two for shipping purposes. These prices are for standard airmail.
7" / CD / cassettes – 3.00 UKP for first item, 1.00 UKP for each additional. (Note if ordering LP's and 7", all 7" are 1.00 UKP. Again, doubles count as two).
Recorded / Registered postage overseas will be charged at cost depending on country. "International Signed For" (recorded delivery) is usually 3.50 UK Pounds for most countries. This gets a signature and is insured for up to 30 UK Pounds compensation. Registered shipping which is trackable and insured for a higher amount will be charged at cost, which generally starts at about 5 UKP additional to basic.
Examples:
Assume you order three LPs and two 7" singles and use standard postage:
UK: 2.50 + 1.00 + 1.00 + 0.30 + 0.30 = £5.10
Europe: 4.00 + 1.50 + 1.50 + 0.75 + 0.75 = £8.50
Rest of the world: 6.50 + 2.75 + 2.75 + 1.00 + 1.00 = £14.00
